Who knew?  Being from Texas, we thought you had to be, you know, near an ocean to “go to the beach”.  I mean, I knew there were big lakes up here and sure, maybe they have beaches.  But beautiful, sandy, clear water spots, with relatively low foot traffic and plenty of room to pitch your beach tent?  High of 80°, nice wind with a slightly chilly night?  Surely not.
